An Egyptian Film Director & Screenwriter obsessed with telling stories. A Fulbright Alumni. Studied Filmmaking in the American University in Cairo, London Central Film School, UCLA, and NYFA. Co-founded ChiaroScuro Film Productions. Wants to make films telling authentic Egyptian stories with strong female leads.

Bio & Awards
Egyptian Film Director & Screenwriter, Taghrid Abouelhassan won the Filmmakers’ Anthology Fund given by UNESCO, EU, UN Women through the Jordanian Royal Film Commission. Wrote & Directed "Mercy Table" winning six International awards & nominated for fourteen. Won the UNFPA and IEFTA awards at the Cairo International Film Festival for "Snow White" developed with RAWI & the WGA.
